VANILLA Absolue

The dry-down on this is incredible—that dark vanilla and rose combo turns creamy and rich without ever going powdery or sweet. I sprayed it this morning and the balsamic resins are still hanging around on my scarf eight hours later, which never happens with my other perfumes.

The tobacco and labdanum in the base give it this smoky, almost leathery warmth that lingers for hours on my coat. I wasn’t sure about the rose at first, but it melts into the dark vanilla beautifully—definitely my new cold-weather signature.

The dry-down on this one is where it really shines—that dark vanilla and rose blend together into something warm and almost smoky, without ever going too sweet. I've had it on for six hours and the patchouli is still lingering nicely on my scarf.
